Chocolate and banana—a classic combination. The slight bitterness of the chocolate brings out the sweetness of the banana. By combining cocoa powder and chocolate syrup, you’ll end up with a rich, aromatic chocolate pound cake.

- Banana (medium) / 1 bottle
- Unsalted butter / 140 g
- Granulated sugar / 130 g
- Whole Eggs / 90 g
- Cake flour / 140 g
- Cocoa Powder / 20 g
- Baking powder / 4g
- Tsukuba Chocolate Syrup or Dessert Syrup (Chocolate Flavor) / 60 g

- Banana (medium) / 1 bottle
- Cacao Nibs / 3g
Recipe
・Preparation
・Mash the banana (1pcs) for the batter.
・Bring the unsalted butter and eggs to room temperature.
・Combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder, then sift them together.
1. Place the unsalted butter in a bowl and cream it with a rubber spatula until smooth. Add the granulated sugar and mix until well combined.
2. Add the beaten egg in three batches, mixing well with a whisk after each addition.
3. Add the mashed banana for the batter and mix well with a whisk.
4. Add the sifted dry ingredients and mix gently with a rubber spatula until no dry spots remain.
5. Add Tsukuba Chocolate Syrup or chocolate-flavored dessert syrup and mix.
6. Pour the batter into a baking pan and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15 minutes.
7. Remove from the oven, top with bananas cut lengthwise, and sprinkle with cacao nibs.
8. Return to the oven and bake for 35 minutes.
